I've been in a Game Gear mood lately. I can't help it. And I've been buying any Game Gear games that I like I can get my hands on for reasonable prices.

Well EBgames was having a Christmas sale today I so picked up Star Wars Force Unleashed II for my younger brother for his present it's the Wii version. I also bought Okamiden for the Nintendo DS for only $23 brand new, pretty good steal if you ask me. I also picked up a second copy of Phantasy Star 0 for DS so I can now do missions with my brother. He’s not getting that Star Wars game until Christmas day though.

Planning on trying out Okamiden sometime tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed Okami for PS2 so I’m looking forward to this one.

I finished Star Wars: KOTOR a week or two ago. It had a big plot twist that I didn't see coming, but saw plenty of clues for in retrospect. A very fun game that I want to play again sometime.

Batman: Arkham City is at the top of my list now. I am not too far into it yet, but it seems to have quite a lot of area to explore. There are plenty of enemies to pounce on as well - maybe a few too many, almost.

Currently three hours into Muramasa: The Demon Blade on the Wii. I’ve chosen to play through the Ninja Princess’s story mode first, because she actually possessed by some demonic force already making her story and character sound epic. The male ninja is simply a rogue character. I’ll get stuck into his story afterwards. It’s pretty much a 2D platforming action game, with your typical RPG elements such as gaining levels and finding weapons etc...

I’m really loving the art style and feel of the game that’s for sure. Been a while since I’ve enjoyed a Wii game this much.

Well, I started a game of Drakan: The Ancient Gate last night. I enjoyed it...however, I can see the potential in this game for me to miss things (I could not return to the first area, so I'm going to assume the same may apply to future areas) or for me to unknowingly save myself into an unwinnable situation. And unfortunately, my one PS2 memory card is almost full, and the save files for Drakan are huge (1500 kb). So, I'm shelving this game for the time being until I get another memory card so I can have multiple save files for a miss something/save myself into bad situation scenario.

However, today in a pawn shop, they had a complete Skylanders starter set for Wii for $35, which is half what it's going for in Gamestop and other major retailers. I really want to give this game a fair shot, but the high price tag was turning me off. However, once there's used copies, I'm skeptical that it'll be easy to get the full set used. But $35 for the starter set? Heck yeah. If I like it I'll probably get one figure from the rest of the character classes so I can get all the extras.

I also have other games I picked up during my week at home, and I definitely want to reply FFVII at some point. I also still have Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 2 and 3 that I have yet to finish.

As for me, I’m playing Both ICO on my PS3 and Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary on my PSP, the later which arrived in the mail early this week. I had to import the Japanese release as Puyo Pop games don’t sell well in English speaking countries, which is a shame because I love these games.
