Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

So far this seasons shows of "DWTS" has not been as exciting (atleast to me) as previous seasons. I really haven't found anyone yet that I want to root for to win the trophy. Two celebrities have been voted off so far with one of them being Bill Nye (the Science guy) who suffered a leg injury and also wound up with the lowest scores so he had to go. The other celebrity guy was a football player, I think, but I can't remember his first name...last name was Johnson.

I really do not like a lot of the changes they have made on the show for this season, with one of them being that they are now only on one night and so they have the dancing and eliminations on the same night. Makes it seem kinda rushed to me with less dancing, etc. Also, they no longer have the celebrity guest music stars which they always had on Tuesday nights...booo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, I haven't watched this weeks version online yet so will have to do that sometime today.

Anyone else watching this show???

A quick update on "DWTS". Last week's episode was the semi-finals, which I haven't gotten around to viewing yet, however, from a online clip I saw advertising the Finale which will be this coming Monday night (Nov. 25), it looks like the remaining four contestants may be Jack Osburne (son of Ozzie and Sharon Osburne), Bill Engvall, Corbin Bleu, and Amber Riley.

The new season of "DWTS" begins sometime in March and so far it looks like things are a changing somewhat as co-host Brooke Burke Charvate (sp?) has been fired and replaced with another former contestant on the show, Erin Andrews. Probably more shocking than that though is that band leader Harold Wheeler and his band have also been fired. Going to miss Wheeler although I noticed last season seemed to downplay the band a bit.

Oh, and it is a bit late but last seasons winner was Amber Riley and her pro partner Derek Hough.

Ah yes, Charlie did very well dancing on the first night. His skating partner is also on the show paired up with another pro dancer. I think Charlie is going to be good at this.

Thanks for the news, Silver_Surfer ! I didn't know that Meryul Davis was in the show too ! Or better.. I didn't look very well at the site ^^

Yeah, Charlie's skating partner is paired with pro dancer Maksim Chermosky (sp?) who is one of the best pro's there is. Maks and her have been doing extremely well so far. I like Charlie though and he is doing fantastic so I hope he wins it.

Drew Carey was eliminated from the competition this week. Sort of sad as he's done very well too. He has lost a ton of weight before and after coming to the show too.

And on another note and also video game related, while watching this week's show on Monday night, they were talking to one of the other pro dancers, Mark Ballas, about something. I didn't quite catch it all as I was doing other things at the time. However, I did hear them say something about the Super Mario characters including Luigi, so maybe Mark is a fan of the video game characters also. That's awesome!!

Hmmm, not certain who come of these "celebrities" are yet or how they may be as dancers. So far I think my favorites may be Antonio Sabato, Jr., and Cheryl. Or maybe Karina Smirnoff and her partner.
