Too bad that actor Ryan O'Neal had to cancel due to knee problems, etc. Oh well, maybe he can take a turn in a later season.

ABC is already experiencing some controversy for their decision to have Chaz Bono on the show.

Hmmm, a lot of these people I don't even know or have never heard of.

I guess I'm going to have to route for Melissa Gilbert and Gladys Knight this go round.

Ah Melissa Gilbert ! Little house on the Prairie ! I have followed the serie when I was younger ! The serie is always on a french channel, M6, and was regularly broadcasred during many years : many souvenirs

Wow, an exciting beginning to "Dancing With The Stars" this past week. All the couples did extremely well. It's gonna be very hard to pick a winner this season. Check it out for yourself:

The stars will dance again this coming week on Monday night and then on Tuesday night it will be the first elimination from the show when one couple must leave. Who do you think the first couple leaving will be??

Well, I forgot to update this thread while the show was on this season, however, the finals were held this week and the winners of this season were athlete Donald Driver and his partner Peta :

Congrats to the winners and to all the other contestants! This was one of the best seasons of "DWTS" since the show began.

Now, we must wait until the new Fall season begins to find out who the next celebrity star dance contestants will be, even though they have already said that it will be a revisit from celebrities that have already appeared on the show in the past. Sounds awesome!!!

New contestants have been announced for the upcoming season of "Dancing With The Stars" and as previously talked about, all the stars competing this time have been previous contestants on the show, so they should all have a grasp of how and what it is going to take to be competitive to win the trophy in the end. It will be fun to see some of the past competitors again and see how much they remember of what they learned before and where they take it this go round.

Now we know which stars will be competing this season but we still have to wait to see which pro dancers they will each be paired up with. That should be interesting in itself.

Anyone have a favorite celebrity you will be rooting for this season? I like several of them...Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Apolo Onho, and more so this is gonna be hard for me to decide...but it's going to be a lot of fun to watch!

Very happy to see that Cheryl Burke and Emmitt Smith are reunited again...they were smokin' hot the first go round when they won the trophy!!

Well, so far this season this show has been fantabulous!! With all the celebrity dancers being ones that have already previously performed on the show, they already have much experience and the dance numbers are that much more dazzling and experienced ones.

So far celebrities to be voted off have been Pamela Anderson (no surprise there imho), but Drew Lachey and Helio (can't remember his last name) were indeed a big surprise to see them leave as they each were top contenders/winners in previous seasons. This week was week 4 and saw Bristol Palin leave the show (not much of a surprise there as she was good, but not as good as the other dancers remaining. It's slowly getting down to the nitty gritty here!!

Whoa, it's been awhile since I have posted here. Looks like I forgot to say anything about last season's shows where country singer Kellie Pickler wound up winning the mirror ball trophy with her pro dancing partner Derek Hough! Kellie was awesome every week and she truly deserved to win that dancing trophy. One of the best celebrity dancers I have ever seen in the entire history of the DWTS show!!

On to a new season now though and earlier this morning the new celebrity stars for the upcoming season were announced. Find out who they were here:

Hmmm, so far I don't see anyone that I am really going to root for to win this trophy this season but maybe as the first show airs I will change my mind when I see how they all do on the dance floor.
