Yep, that's her. She seems friendly at first, but then she clams up until it's too late.

On the similarity, or lack thereof, of worldship design, keep in mind that the layout of the Alisa III may have changed somewhat from the original by the time we see it. Another name for the Laya-Orakio conflict is the "Devastation War," because it reduced cities to rubble. There's no telling what affect it may have had on landmarks. So, that could account for difference in the water layouts.

I'm running late with today's image, so here's one for today and tomorrow. These are "Alys" and "Frightened."

That's a good point; they even have weather control centers that could reshape the landscape.

From what I remember, it did seem to be pretty one-sided, with Chaz always getting mad at what Rune said. Well, he IS short. It's not like Rune was lying! I never understood getting angry over something like one's height. It's not like there's anything you did to be short, or can do anything to remedy it... except wear platform shoes!

Yeah, he softened a bit on Rune there. I guess killing the Profound Darkness could have that effect on someone!

Rune was just teasing him, but it was kind of funny to see Chaz get so worked up at times. What was it Chaz said when Rika asked who Rune was? Something like "He's a conceited jerk!" They let a few good ones fly at each other. :duck:

Poor Hahn, fleeced of money by Alys again! I wonder whatever happened to all of that money? It certainly didn't go into the party's purse.

It didn't? I thought you got to keep that cash; at least the first payment for the Piata Basement. I love Alys! She made him pay to get what he wanted rather than freeload along like so many characters in rpgs. When did she stop charging him? I'd assume it was once they got Gryz since she didn't charge him, but I don't remember for certain. Maybe the mention of Zio by Rune :eyebrow:

Hm... well, maybe it did. I don't recall for sure now. I guess the first payment might have, but it wouldn't make sense for the others to be given to the party. Hahn's already there, so surely he wouldn't be holding out?

I'll have to check on that first one for the basement again sometime.
