Smallville

There's lots to talk about on the smaller screen.

Riverworld! Awesome, I've been waiting on Sci-Fi to follow up on that for ages. They did a great movie of the week with the name and concept years ago. It strongly hinted at being the start of a trilogy, but was never continued. I hope they build on it this time.

Smallville comes on tonight, but I think it's a rerun episode.

Here's a link to some recent Q&A stuff on Smallville:

Great, just great. Friday nights are already pretty full. I missed most of the second season of Terminator because it moved to Friday and there were other shows I wanted to see more. I guess I'll have to try to watch Smallville on some website next season.

Wow, I haven't watched an episode of this since Season 2. Which seems like it was on either preceeding or following Everwood back then.

That should be interesting. Metallo's a character from the comics. There's a decent Metallo biography on Wikipedia.

[Reveal] Spoiler: Possible show spoilers of Metallo
He's a guy who was in an accident that would have been fatal, but a scientist transplanted the guy's brain into a robot body. The body has fake skin and usually looks a lot like the robots in the Terminator movies. This robot body is powered by a piece of kryptonite, which is stored in the chest where the heart would be located. Metallo typically opens up doors on his chest to expose the kryptonite when fighting Superman.

All this talk of Smallville has me interested again. And guess what? Went out on Thursday and found some cheap, used, season boxsets. Seasons 1, 3, and 4 to be precise. Have Season 6 on HD-DVD, still factory sealed. Never could bring myself to opening it after buying it on clearance since I didn't want to spoil anything from the three seasons I'd missed. :p
