Revive a dead topic because I just got something that just...makes me happy. To be truly technical to the topic name about a thing I personally bought, the last game/game-related thing I bought would be War of the Monsters and the Crash remakes on PS4. They had a sale a week or two back for the latter that we'd been eyeing, and the former is just a PS2 title that I remember enjoying, and it was only $10 for download with HD upscaling and trophies added, so why not. Heck I played it last night, and it's still ridiculous dumb fun that knows exactly what it's trying to be (a goofy, somewhat satirical homage of 50s/60s era sci-fi and giant monster movies) and is completely self-aware of that. Doesn't take itself too seriously.
But to expand the scope of the topic, the last game/game-related thing I received was actually a late birthday gift. I did get the Shadow of the Colossus remake of course (and if you have a PS4 I strongly recommend it, especially if you never played SOTC before) but a few days after that a friend of mine sent me a box from the Pokemon Center online store. Now you here might know in the last year or so I've finally gotten into Pokemon as a franchise when I played Moon (though my interest in the competitive scene still sits at 0). This box had the official plushes for Litten and Torracat, the fire starter and its second stage evolution. I already had the stage 3 evolution (Incineroar) as I got him at the Nintendo Store when I was in New York City in November. So I have all 3 stages of the Litten line, and after playing Moon and still working my way through Ultra Sun, Litten etc. might have supplanted Charmander etc. as my favorite Pokemon, after Charmander etc. spent basically 20 years there without coming close to being budged.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
