I read the following story yesterday, and found it hard to believe. I suppose it's true, but how the guy ever pulled it off, is beyond belief. What do you think?

Cheaters. He would have never made it through my class had I been a teacher.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

It's really hard to believe that he was able to get by in all those classes just by cheating. I suppose when you do it that much, you become really good at hiding it. It's amazing that no one ever picked up on it in all that time.

This takes the cake. If he failed anybody, they ought to sue the pants off him.
Don't teachers have to pass a test or exam of some type to get a teacher's certificate? How'd he manage to pass that with not being able to read? And, why tell about all of it now? I bet he's got a book deal lined up or something.

IIRC, the article said he already had two books published. He probably cheated on the teacher's exam, if he had to take on back then.

Personally, I think it's a load of BS. If he can't read, then how could he take the tests in the first place? Chances are, he'd have to know the material as well to even get good scores. I somehow doubt that he managed all this with cheating and dumb luck. In school, I can see it being the case, but you have to go to college to be a teacher, yes? Then again, since this guy's old, then it makes me question what the standards were back then, which could also effect how believable this is.

Remember the guy who was declared dead? Here's a similar story that is a little closer to home for those of us in the US:

Ahh, love the bureaucratic red tape that causes crap like this to happen. One little mistake made, it'll cause problems for YEARS.

Here's a silly one. A lot of companies have jumped on the Wii bandwagon by making custom controllers for the system. I've seen everything from tennis rackets to golf clubs to pots and pans. Most at least seem to have some kind of uniqueness to them, but not these:

Seriously, who's going to need that many light guns?
