Yes, a very sad day but one that certainly needs to be remembered.
I was watching ABC News tonight with David Muir and they had several older people on there that were very young when the holocaust took place but as young children they were there then and shared their memories of that time with their parents and families that many of them never saw again as their parents, etc., were killed at this horrible place. The people were making the trip back over there to see the place again, many of them probably for the last time. They were sharing the trip with some of their own children, etc., so those memories can live on even after they themselves have passed on. So very sad to see those images and horrible places but we must remember so this may not even happen again.
