Much of Palma's land was covered with open plains such as these. Distant mountains and forests provide a suitable framing backdrop for this battle background. When Alis ventured out from Camineet on her quest to find Odin, her early forays into combat took place in such venues. Following common conventions of early console roleplaying games, the enemies in the plains areas tended to be weaker than those in the surrounding forests. Even so, some of the fantastic creatures encountered on these fields were rather strong.
