After finally catching the wanted man she has been after, Anna must find her way back to civilization. Moving from desert into swamplands, she comes across a large, navel-less frog called a corgen. It is described as larger than a biomonster called a licker, which appears in Rudo's text adventure. The licker is likely the creature named "Froggy" in Phantasy Star II, based on the visual design of the creature Rudo encountered. The corgen is a fearsome opponent, but Anna is able to pacify it by offering an egg found nearby. Once it eats the egg, the corgen enters a deep slumber, allowing Anna and her captive to pass freely.
