And save up monies for armour and weapons.

level grind
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:37 am
Ah, who cares. Just grind, use heal techs, and ps3 is easy.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:37 am
Ah, video. *checking*
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:35 am
Yeah, but I never used the defense or time techs. I have no idea what they look like.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:35 am
On 2:04 DF's shooting blue bubbles. Think it's Tsu.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:35 am
Wasn't there a technique which boosted attack power?
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:34 am
Wow, my poor old brain is trying to remember that! Actually I'm playing through all the generations right now, but I probably haven't been paying attention to the techs.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:33 am
Yeah. It hit a group of enemies. Think it was tsu, but it seemed like bubbles to me, animation wise.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:31 am
Blue bubble? In PSIII?
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:29 am
Techs also made your time in battle much longer. I hated that about PSIII.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:29 am
I remember this weird blue bubble tech on there which hit everyone. DF used it.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:28 am
I wouldn't even know what enemies had tech weaknesses in PSIII, though, because I only used weapons.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:28 am
Oh right.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:28 am
Made certain techniques more better than others?
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:27 am
Or was it because I went to the tech config places?
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:27 am
They made a water tech in PSIV, but that was the first PS game that had a water tech.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:27 am
Certain techniques did more damage than other ones to certain enemies.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:27 am
Tsu is a lightning bolt, actually.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:26 am
Even rever and anti suck as techniques in PSIII. They don't work all the time, so you have to keep casting and casting them until they work. Moon Dew is scant in the game, too.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:26 am
Tsu = water
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:26 am
Gra = earth/electricity
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:26 am
Zan = wind
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:26 am
Foi = fire
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:25 am
I noticed enemies had elemental weaknesses when I last played it.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:25 am
You're right on that.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:25 am
And ps3 gameplay was hard for me to fathom when I was 8 or 9 at the time.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:25 am
They are worthless in PSIII.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:25 am
But I'm talking long ago here.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:24 am
Apart from res and gires, I thought most of the techniques were worthless, Tanith.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:24 am
Well, normal, as in humans don't use fancy powers but wits and brute force.
thepeaguy
Tue May 18, '10, 12:24 am
3/4 "normal"? Hehehe, I've never heard anyone refer to Orakian as normal before. :D
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:23 am
Does anyone use techniques in PSIII anyway? I mean besides healing techs. Crys is awesomesauce. My favorite 3rd generation hero.
Tanith
Tue May 18, '10, 12:20 am
He's 3/4 normal 1/4 layan or something.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:49 pm
But uses very little magic/techniques.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:41 pm
I think it's Crys who's tough daddy.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:40 pm
I remember Sean. He's the weakest final 3rd generation prince.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:40 pm
I believe so.. would have to check phantasy-star.net scripts
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:40 pm
Odd that they didn't include IV. :/
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:39 pm
Nial side, Neo Palm lives / Dies, on Ayn Azura lives/dies
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:39 pm
On Sean's side, Azura is gone
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:39 pm
Well in one 3rd generation, the Alisa 3 destroys the Neo Palm on Nial's side
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:39 pm
The last time I played ps3 was on the phantasy star collection on my gba yonks back.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:39 pm
I remember one of the domes had turrets and shot either the moon or the spaceship.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:38 pm
Satellite(Azura) is toasted
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:37 pm
Yes, 3rd generation for Sean if I recall
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:37 pm
Are we talking generation 3 here?
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:37 pm
Anyway, this hypothesis is getting tiresome to read.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:37 pm
In one of the 3rd generations. The Alisa 3 fired upon it and boom crash kapow!
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:36 pm
Ashes
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:35 pm
Satellite was blown up
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:35 pm
aything
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:35 pm
Rick, what has AIM to do with anyway?
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:35 pm
Or weren't they contained on Satellite? I don't remember ps3's story that well, tbh. It has been some time ago.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:35 pm
HAha.. Satellite's fate was far worse
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:34 pm
Satellite was taken control by warmongering cyborgs who had it in for the Layans.
thepeaguy
Mon May 17, '10, 11:34 pm
From what I heard, mutual isn't the word but this isn't a place for conflict. It's a place of peace.. It's Satellite!
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:33 pm
It shows an obsession and wish to start a conflict. Conflicts aren't welcome here
Rick
Mon May 17, '10, 11:30 pm
Goals are wonderful things for people. It gives them purpose outside of obsessing over others. Goals keep people going
