Mortis fons was developed. It's understandable it wasn't always Mortis Fons. In fact, Episode 3 states its the site of a battle.

Episode 3 is 21 years after episode 2, the blue burst programmers decided to use the same area

I can show you proof that the area of MORTIS FONS was previously the area of the crater in episode 4

And I was gone due to internet issues. Since Wednesday, we had a storm that took out our cable, then on Thursday that storm returned and took out our internet. WE needed a guy from the cable company to come fix it, which sadly, yesterday was the earliest time they had available.
