Ayeah it was a major pain. I saw doctors, nurses, dentists, had blood taken, things examind and soem of the tests I did before joining were redone as well. What a long day
That really was an all day event. I got an upper respiratory infection in Basic, spent the day waiting for some pills. I would have preferred being in training that day.
See, I'll happily pay for dentistry, because the military dentist scared the living crap out of me. They were all about 70 years old and shaky and just... not good.
That sounds like our military healthcare system. I daresay if the healthcare system goes universal here it'll be a lot like what I remember from my Army days.
Ah, my bad, I should have mentioned it was France. No, here we have very few pharmacies, mainly because the NHS is free and you only go to a pharmacy to buy medicine and colelct prescriptions.
Well that's always handy. It looks like a pretty snazzy place too. I don't know about 24 hour pharmacies, but I *do* know that most of the streets in Paris have 24 pharmaacies on them!
Blech. I don't get the love for cold pizza. The taco was limp. Threw it away. Now on the prowl for better food. Thinking noodles. Posting without pronouns.
