Community Awards
The Fringes of Algo Community Awards, also known as the Muskies, were created to recognize members who have made important contributions to the continued growth of this Phantasy Star fan community. Members of the community nominate their favorite entries in a number of categories. From those nominations, the top few nominees are selected for ballots. The community then votes for their favorite entry on each ballot.
There are three levels of Muskies: gold 
for first place, silver 
for second place, and bronze 
for third place. The winners receive special recognition for their achievements. Community members will receive a notation in their community profile, membership in special usergroups, extra private message storage space, and a Muskies-exclusive golden username color. Winners also receive banners stating their status, which can be used in signatures. Forum topics that win an award will be stickied for approximately six months for gold, four months for silver, and two months for bronze.
