Profile Information Sources

Information appearing in the Profiles section of Fringes of Algo is based on the following sources published by Sega. When two sources provide conflicting information, precedence is given the most recently published source. In the case of a more recent non-game source conflicting with a game source, the game is given precedence. The conflicting information from the other sources may also be presented.

• Games in the Phantasy Star series
• Phantasy Star Compendium, published November 15, 1995
• World of Phantasy Star, published December 30, 1993
• Official Sega Websites, including the following:
  • Sega Masterpiece Album: Phantasy Star, published July 2003

The official English translation of the games, when one exists, is given precedence over Japanese versions, but discrepancies are noted where possible. See the Naming and Localization Notes for more on that. In the case of sources published only in Japanese, the following unofficial translations of those sources may be used.
