Biography
Skills are special abilities a person can learn or use, based on criteria such as profession, species, or weapons used. People in combat oriented professions, such as Hunters, specialize in weapon related skills. Priests learn skills related to holy power or healing, while evil creatures invoke black magic. Espers typically have magic spells for skills.
Androids are the only beings that cannot learn new skills through training. Instead, they must find and install special parts or upgrades. Only machinery that is compatible with an android's systems can be installed. Some androids are designed differently than others and, as a consequence, cannot use skill parts created for other models of androids.
