Biography
Laerma is the name of a fruit tree native to Dezoris. These trees grow on the Altiplano Plateau and produce fruit known as Laerma Berries or Laerma Nuts. Dezorians use these berries as a food source.
Once picked, the berries shrivel quickly, unless placed in a container made of Laconia. If eaten by a Musk Cat, the berries cause a startling physical transformation.
Some Espers, including Rune Walsh carried canes made of wood from the Laerma tree as weapons. These canes possess special healing powers similar to magic or techniques.
