Biography
Following the introduction of the Mother Brain system and a time of peace in Algo, several artificial satellites were constructed and placed into orbit among the planets of the system. Gaila is one of these, along with Zelan and Kuran. Unlike the other satellites, the orbital path of Gaila, including whether it orbited the star or a planet, is unknown.
In AW 1284, Gaila was used as a prison to hold Rolf and company after they were captured and sentenced to death for damaging Mother Brain's systems. In truth, this was a disguised ploy to continue the progressing destruction of Algo. While Rolf and crew were aboard, a large explosion occured and Gaila crashed into Palma, destroying both the satellite and the planet.
