Phantasy Star: Generation 1

Phantasy Star: Generation 1 In the early years of the twenty-first century, everything old became new again. Favorite series from the 1980s and 90s were reinvented in many new and old media. Sega joined this revival by creating a line, called Sega Ages 2500, of budget PlayStation 2 remakes of their classic hits. They began with Phantasy Star, giving us Phantasy Star: Generation 1.

Generation 1 is an extremely enhanced version of the classic. Boasting new graphics, added dungeon areas, automatic dungeon mapping, an expanded story with more character interaction, additional cutscenes, and an updated battle system integrating elements from Phantasy Star IV's combat.
