This full page scan is a sample of the content of The World of Phantasy Star. This particular page deals with two unanswered questions left by the story in Phantasy Star. My understanding of the text is limited, but the left column seems to be wondering if the muscular woman in the lower right illustration had a place in the game. The right column theorizes about the reasons for the infamous shortcake shop being located in a dungeon full of monsters, rather than in a rural area. Apparently the shortcake pictured at the lower left is somewhat rotten.
