The lower portion of this page from the The World of Phantasy Star coverage of Phantasy Star features two distinct illustrations. In the upper right of this excerpt, we have a simple group shot featuring the game's heroes. This is a fairly standard representation of the group, with the exception of Alis' occasional blonde look. More space is devoted to the red dragon, who even gets a decent background based on the game's first person dungeons. It is not often that drawings of monsters from the Phantasy Star games include a setting as this one does, making this piece something a little special.
