Several Phantasy Star games feature an item for quickly exiting dungeons. It is most often called an "escapipe" and is a magically enhanced ocarina (a type of musical instrument). The pirate games have a similar item, but it is not an ocarina or any kind of musical instrument. Instead, it is... well, I'm not quite sure what to call this thing. It looks like a shield with wings. It reminds of the old wing warping item in Dragon Quest.
