Here is the first cutscene look at Alys and Chaz in Xing Zhan Qing Yuan. Being an 8-bit game, this is of course a severe downgrade from Phantasy Star IV. There is less detail in their clothes, no background, and so on. The thing that really sticks out to me is that they have the same hair color. With the exception of her horrible status screen image, Alys is converted to a blonde in the pirate versions. I prefer her as a brunette, how about you?
