When the heroes return to the Silence Temple, after proving themselves in the two towers of Rykros, Le Roof reveals the secret history of Algo to them. He begins with the tale of a great spiritual life form that split into two lesser beings. These beings, he tells us, began to fight. The scene here shows the two lesser beings at war with each other. Notice the imagery use for each. One is white and blue, looking very peaceful. The other is dark, in black and deep reds, surrounded by tongues of fire and smoke. The artists were not very subtle about who was good and evil here, were they?
