The monstrous Kite Devil was a truly deadly beast. It wrecked havoc in both Wood and River towns, destroying homes and shops as it rampaged unchecked. Ordinary weapons bounced off the creature's thick hide as it hunted townsfolk. Only magical artifacts were able to offer any defense or offense against this creature. If a few more of these had been unleased on Motavia, the level of destruction would have been astonishing.
