This scene feels a bit misplaced, but it is shown when Rune is revealing the nature of Algo's thousand year cycle and the rising of Dark Force. Rune and his friends are in the underground chamber of Lutz below Esper Mansion, but this star field is used for dramatic effect to show Rune's resolve to save Algo from evil. We also get our first hint that Dark Force is but a pawn, as Rune mentions that "the root of all evil" still exists.
