When Chaz, Rika, Gryz, and Demi finally located Rune in the Ladea Tower, he joined their group in a quick return to Krup. They arrive to find that Alys has not moved from her bed and her condition has suddenly deteriorated. Even talking is difficult for her now. Chaz sought out Rune in hopes that the wizard could heal Alys, but it was not to be. All they can do is watch helplessly as the brave Hunter takes her last breath.
