After a long series of adventures involving stops in four cities, our heroes are finally back in Zema with the important medicine Alshline. When applied to someone afflicted by Zio's curse of petrification, the medicine causes the curse's magic to crack and shatter, almost like an egg shell. For this shot, we can see this stone shell falling away from the face of an infected person. Notice the placement of stone flakes. Some of them are quite far from the flesh, indicating that they may have been ejected from the surface of the body with some force, rather than just falling off.
