Meet Rune Walsh, a mysterious traveller who wanders the deserts of Motavia. In this, his first close up, we get our first good look at the man and learn a bit about his personality. Alys Brangwin, who has been the driving force of the party of heroes up to this point, is an old friend of Rune's. At one time, she wanted to be more than a friend to the young wizard, but they parted ways long ago. Since then, they have advanced their individual training along different avenues. Rune's smile reveals his pleasure at seeing her again.
