In the caverns below the mountain behind Zema village, the team of Alys, Chaz, and Hahn have discovered the fate of the Academy expedition in Birth Valley. Professor Holt, Hahn's mentor, stands here, frozen by an ancient curse of stone. Holt's pose is defiant, as if he was attempting to block Zio from disturbing the ruins located under the mountain. Unfortunately, even though Holt stood before the entrance to the Bio-plant, Zio was still able to use the facility to spawn monsters by the dozens.
