Once Professor Holt has been cured of the petrification curse cast by Zio, he awakens full of energy and eager to get back to work unraveling the mysteries of Birth Valley. Hahn tries to curb this enthusiasm with Holt's recent predicament, but the teacher shrugs it off as unimportant. It seems as though he did not even notice being turned to stone. On the contrary, he orders Hahn to return to the Academy to report the status of the investigation, then rushes off to continue exploring.
