This is a simple view of Wren, extracted from one of the ending cutscenes of the game. Even though it is small, this is the best close up of the character provided by the game, outside of his character portrait. Only this cutscene and his three transformation sequences display Wren in any true detail. Even then, there are discrepancies. His coloration here does not match the transformation scenes very well. Those other scenes show Wren's body as being almost entirely black in color, other than his face. Here, there is clearly some gray and red. This screenshot must have been a good deal of the inspiration for the design of Phantasy Star IV's Wren.
