Meet the Old Man, leader of the tribe of Musk Cats that live on Dezoris in Phantasy Star IV. Under his care, the last few remaining cats have shelter in the only warm location on the icy planet. Usually the talking felines avoid contact with humans, but they welcome our heroes due to a "feeling of fond remembrance." Perhaps in some way they are able to recognize Rune Walsh as Lutz due to memories of the travels of Myau and Noah. Whatever the case, this old cat gives Myau's best weapon to Rika as a way of helping their cause.
