When Alis, Odin, and Myau explore the cavern north of Paseo, they discover this fellow in the center of the second level. They may not know who he is at this point, but he is actually Lutz, who will become the fourth member of the travelling band of rebels. Lutz wants nothing to do with them at first, as he is content to continue his meditations behind a sealed door. The Motavians and monsters roaming the cave do not bother him, so he is able to relax without wearing the protective cloak he will garb himself in when he leaves with the party later on.
