Myau the Musk Cat must have been a popular character with the developers of Phantasy Star. He is featured in more cutscenes than any other character in the game. For an example, take this scene from the sequence that plays at the top of Baya Malay. We can see Myau crouching in a posture that emphasizes his feline qualities. In the story, he is now eating the Laerma Nut to begin the transformation that will allow the party to reach Lassic's flying fortress.
