In some cutscenes of Phantasy Star III, we are provided a look at the Alisa III and other similar world ships from the outside. This top down view gives the most clear sample of the interior sections. Each dome has an identical format here, which does not match up to the Alisa III. The center dome is clearly not a massive desert, for instance. This is probably simply because it was easier for the game developers to reuse a single design. However, it also opens the possiblity of several story explanations. Where all the world ships different? Was the Alisa III so ravaged by war that the shape of the land actually changed?
