Solid headgear is an excellent protective item for anyone engaging in a potentially dangerous activity. Even on a vast space ship like the Alisa III, there are dangers like falling off a cliff or getting bonked on the noggin during a fight. Equipping a good helmet like this basic model can be a life saver when it comes to reducing damage from the wagging finger of a giant or the ear shaking of a floating stone face. The style of this Phantasy Star III helmet slightly reminds me of some in the original Star Wars trilogy for some reason, but I cannot seem to pin down any very similar garb from the films.
