This one of several pages of storyboards from Phantasy Star IV production documents included in the Phantasy Star Collection - Saturn image gallery. Some of them detail scenes that were not used in the final game, but this is not such a page. On these storyboards, the introduction of Rika is plotted out. Just as in the game, Holt introduces her to Chaz and his party. Chaz seems rather surprised to see her. I suppose he never expected that someone might still be inhabiting a facility that was abandoned by Palmans a thousand years before this.
