On this sheet from the Phantasy Star IV production documents included in Phantasy Star Collection - Saturn, we are treated to a set of storyboards mapping out the progress of the cutscenes surrounding Zio's final defeat. First, we can see Rune using the Psycho Wand to weaken the dark wizard's protective barrier. After Zio's body disintegrates, Chaz and Gryz enjoy the rush of victory. Finally, Gryz and Demi watch as the Nurvus shuttle launches, carrying Rune, Chaz and Rika to Zelan.
