This art captures a vision of Rhys' first encounter with Maia. While walking along the coast one day, the young prince found a mysterious woman washed up on the shore with no memory save her name. After carrying her back to Landen castle, he helped care for her during her recovery. Two months later, they were ready to marry when her lost past caught up to her.

It is difficult to be certain, but it would appear that this is an actual painting rather than simply a drawing. The style is reminiscent of some watercolor paintings, suggesting that same medium might have been employed here.
