In the setting of Phantasy Star Adventure, interplanetary travel is common in the Algo star system. Ships arrive at and launch from spaceports, where passengers board and disembark as we would at an airport. Like airports, the spaceports are staffed by receptionists like this young woman. She works at the spaceport in Carsonville, where she tells the nameless hero of the game that the next ship for Paseo will depart one week after his recent arrival. Her cheerful expression also greats players on the first page of the game manual, right next to the table of contents.
