An otherwise forgotten foe of Phantasy Star is called back into action for Phantasy Star Gaiden. The slime family of monsters were some of the most basic dungeon roamers that Alis and her companions had to fight off on Palma. Apparently some of them migrated away from Palma with the heroine. Some web sites refer to this foe as a Green Slime. The manual however, labels this picture as "スライム", which translates simply to "slime."
