To help enforce his brand of tyranny, the government of Lassic uses mechanical law enforcement officers called Robotcops. Possessing long, lanky arms and ruthless demeanor, these cybernetic centurions are stationed at key government installations, such as the Triada prison. In Phantasy Star - Deluxe Edition, the redesigned Robotcops feature better protected joints and new heads that call to mind a famous movie character with a similar name, RoboCop. They also lack the handheld pistols they once carried.
