In the opening scenes of the remake, the end of Nero's life is once again replayed. His young sister, Alis, holds him close in his final moments. Nero's bloody wounds are even more visible than in the original. Perhaps this is because his shirt has been opened wider. Whatever the case, it seems Alis must once again take up the quest of Nero.
