This is an early version of a very familiar drawing. We have seen later stages of this piece featured previously, including colored and uncolored inked versions. Unlike those, this one still has the uncleaned lines left over from the sketching process. It shows hints of how the design of the drawing changed over time. If you look closely, you can see the remains of Alys' right arm, possibly with a slasher in her hand.
