Wren, the overseer of Algo's climate control systems, serves a vital role in the story of Phantasy Star Memorial Drama CD. When Nei and Chaz find themselves overwhelmed by the mechanical defenses of a corrupt AI that desires to kill all humans, Wren and Demi come to their rescue. Wren attempts to take control of the AI, but ultimately must allow the termination of the entire facility. As the story concludes, he erases Chaz's memory of the adventure, explaining why Chaz knew nothing of androids, numans, or the secret of Birth Valley three years later.
