Many of the common foes encountered in Phantasy Star would return for later installments. Wing Eye was one of the few that did not, so Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition provides on of their very few appearances. A floating eyeball with wings is just not as menacing as they were considered to be twenty years ago, I suppose.
