Under the reign of Lassic, wizards not allied with the tyrant retreated to hiding places in caverns on Motavia. One such wizard is the teacher of Noah (or Lutz, as you please). He has been called by many names, but Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition refers to him as Tajimu or Taji Mu. The original Phantasy Star shortened that to Tajim. On meeting Noah in Alis' company, the teacher and student face off in single combat as Noah's final example. On his defeat, Tajim gives his student the gift of a Frad Mantle.
