The evil tyrant who rules the Algo system with an iron fist, Lassic, stands ready for combat in the throne room of his floating castle. After Alis and company have tracked him down and completed many preparations, their final confrontation with this old man is at hand. For Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition, Lassic has a much more dynamic pose. As one glowing red eye peers out from the shadow cast by his crown, he holds his staff ready before him. The staff head piece has a different design as well.

This villain has been known by many variations of his name: Lassic, Lashiec, La Shiec, and the list goes on. This game adds a new one. Internally, this image is referenced as "rashiiku."
