Thea and Ayn travel a long, difficult path during their adventure. Thea was captured and held prisoner, losing both her country and father. Ayn did not lose a close family member, but did face up to his ancestors' legacy on many fronts. Together, they found one form of that legacy in the satellite fortress of Siren. After overcoming the ancient android, Ayn and Thea married in the ceremony shown here.

During the course of playing all the branches of Phantasy Star III, we get to see several wedding sequences. Most of them are nearly identical, but have subtle differences in the groom and bride. For this image, Ayn and Thea are unique parts of the picture.
